Food Comas

Arden always goes into a food coma after eating. We think it may be one of our favorite things about her...

Random...

So I think that our little lady will be a curly haired raven... at least when it's wet.

Plus some other random images. Our girl is beautiful :)

Coming Home / Last Day

These pictures are all out of order, I know. But as a new father, I'm entitled to do a few things however I want :)

So, here are a few pictures from our last day in the hospital and when we got home. We really wanted to have a "special" outfit to put Arden into for her first trip home, so I silk screened a little red birdie (from Jenn's baby shower invitation) onto a onesie to bring her home in. She looks really cute :)

To Tha Docta!!

So we went to our pediatrician for the first time yesterday, who was recommended to us by our good friend Erin. We love our new doctor, and we think that Arden does as well. I'm trying as best as I can to influence her with the cool walls painted with "thing 1" and "thing 2" from Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat.

All in all, we had a good experience. Arden's lost a little bit of weight, but nothing to be concerned about. We forgot to take her discharge papers with us, oops, and had no idea what she had gotten on her APGAR tests. Is this a sign of things to come when we can't be bothered with the results from our baby's first ever test?..

One of our favorite things about going to the doctor is the way we get there. We get to take a nice stroll through Ft Tryon Park, weather permitting, and in front of the office there is an amazing view of the GW Bridge where I proposed to Jenn. It seems so meant to be.

More Pictures

You know you want more...

My New World

This is where Jenn and I will try and keep all of our friends and family updated on all things Arden. She is so excited to be a true New Yorker, and can't wait for all of you to come and visit her in her element.

So far, she is trying to stake out her uniqueness from both Jenn and me. I keep thinking that I've got another diva on my hands here and that my main job will be to just maintain her (like I do with her mother). For now, her needs are simple. Food. Diapers. Swaddling. All too soon will come the many trips to various foodie locations throughout the 5 boroughs, and the latest couture, or whatever...

I guess I'll just have to enjoy the dependence while I can.

For now, hopefully these images will help appease those clamoring for any news regarding their new love.
